If you call the hotel directly and mention the group code "Science", you can get a special flat rate for a room with two queen beds for $94. You will be allowed to put up to four people in a room. This is actually a large savings for this hotel. Seventy rooms have been set aside for the Science Olympiad; however, they will be released on March 11, 2008. The quietest University Housing is tucked in a wooded setting on the shores of Lake Mendota on the west end of campus away from the hustle and bustle of downtown Madison. If you call the center directly and mention the Science Olympiad, you can get a room for $62.00 for one person and $10.00 for each additional person in the room. Most rooms have two European double beds (smaller than a queen). You will be allowed to put up to three people in a room. 39 rooms have been set aside for the Science Olympiad, however, they will be released on March 14, 2008. Individual schools should call the Friedrick Center at 608-231-1341 to book their reservations and pay with a school credit card or check. This hotel is conveniently located on the Alliant Energy Center grounds and connected to the Exhibition Hall. Call the hotel directly to make reservations at 608-284-1234 and mention "Science Olympiad" for the group rate of $94.00. The rooms will be held until March 11th and then they will be released.
