A Message from Dean Paul Peercy

On behalf of the faculty, staff and administration at the University of Wisconsin - Madison, I would like to welcome the division B and division C schools to the first combined middle and high school tournament for the Wisconsin Science Olympiad. The College of Engineering is proud to be a sponsor of this event, and I know that I speak for all of the sponsors when I commend the school coaches and their assistants for what they do above and beyond their challenging workload to make science fun and exciting for their students. I also want to commend the students for devoting extra time to the sciences and hope that all of you will consider careers in science and engineering. You represent the future; you are the ones who will keep this country a leader in technology. We are happy to host the competition and look forward to your visit to UW-Madison.
